Online Website training FREE
A month ago I committed to creating and posting my first podcast. I was successful at downloading Audacity and creating my first recording. I even figured out how to download the instructions to tranfer an Audacity file into a MP3 file.
Woohoo.
And then it all fell apart. I have failed to figure out how to take the MP3 and turn it into XML. I have searched for UNDERSTANDABLE instructions and failed.
But what I did find was a company called GNC Creations who offers really extensive training on SEO and online marketing. From the details the curriculum looks really involved and there is a warning that once you sign up you can expect an additional 50-100 emails a day from the class. That's a lot of communication. But if you are looking for a free educational opportunity to teach you SEO designed website from design to content to marketing - check out GNC.
In the meantime, what do I do about the podcast???

Keep working on it for sure.
I just purchased an audio interface to work with my audio software sound forge. I downloaded Audacity but found it would not do want I wanted for podcasting.
I look forward to your first podcast.
You might want to call Todd at www.dlprecordingstudios.com and see if he can give you some instruction.

Adrian. Thanks for the comment and information about what you are offering for those interested in ecommerce. That's next for me. But one baby step at a time! Take care. Deborah

Good for you for trying to create your own Podcast. I hope you are able to find free courses aimed at helping you solve your problems.
As for ecommerce website training, my Co-Instructor Anthony Dyson and I teach a 10 week course at Humber College in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada where we set up each student with their own ecommerce website and them show them to get plenty of targeted traffic. We are in our second run of courses and meet regularly with our graduates to make sure they are meeting their goals. Check out Sitesell Education, they could be running a course at a college or university campus close to you.
